*Position = QA ENGINEER/LOAD RUNNER 12.0 Location = Chicago, ILDuration =
12+ month contract*

Estimate, Strategize, Plan, Design, Execute and Analyze performance tests
and applications, products and projects. Coordinate activities of
performance testers participating on cross-functional teams. Ensure that
performance and load tests developed internal to each specific product
development group all meet quality assurance standards prior to system
delivery and implementation to partners or clients. Provide reporting of
tests and test results that allow for quantitative tracking of project
quality and completeness. Oversee compliance of all performance testing
artifacts and standards throughout project life cycles. Interface with the
project owners, developers, analysts, and project managers.

*Superb knowledge of LoadRunner including* latest versions (12.01). Must be
able to work with many different protocols, systems/equipment monitoring,
troubleshooting errors and understand transaction failures.
2. Demonstrated skill in creating/understanding LoadRunner scripts at the
API level.
3. Creative problem solver who can recommend methods and protocol solutions
for testing various types of applications.
4. A deep understanding of performance and load testing types and the
process to achieve testing results.
5. Adept at leading meetings and explaining rationale behind QA standards,
load testing and application performance.
6. Must be able to work independently across multiple projects at a time
while following a formal process. This is a position for someone who enjoys
being the go-to person for troubleshooting complex problems.
7. Excellent organizational skills are necessary for tracking status of
multiple projects and requests. Project management experience necessary.
8. Strong experience in technical documentation.
9. Strong experience in other HP products like QTP/UFT desired.
10. Persuasive ability to explain to people the value in performance
testing.
11. In depth knowledge of architectures and technologies as they relate to
performance testing.
