Job Title: QA Manual Tester Location: Richmond, VA Durations: 6+ Months Contract Description: Must have experience with XML and Testing in Unix and experience or an understanding of Batch Testing. Has extensive knowledge of and credibility in client business processes which is applied in analyzing test requirements, developing testing materials, executing tests, analyzing results and logging / tracking defects. The successful candidate will work closely with quality assurance leads, application development team, other SMEs to ensure application functions according to the requirements and established guidelines. Can function and work well with others in a tight deadline and competing priorities. Well-organized, with attention to detail, and self-motivated. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a manager. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Must have good understanding of quality assurance methodologies and software development life cycle. Will have a good knowledge of business processes, analyzes test requirements, develops testing materials, executes tests, analyzes results and logs / tracks defects. Develops all test materials including developing, publishing, and implementing test plans, test cases and all required test data.
