*Job Details:* *Job Title : Interface Test Analyst* *Location : Indianapolis, IN* *Duration : Long Term* *Rate : $45/hr on C2C MAX* *Phone Interview* *Job Description:* Testing in support of the development and/or implementation of a Medicaid Management Information System, including interfaces to MAPIR (Medical Assistance Provider Incentive Repository) and other strategic vendors and/or applications (e.g., pharmacy benefits management, data warehouses, etc.). This function will specifically be responsible for ensuring that transactional, channel, and integration testing are performed to validate transactions, verify file execution, validate information sharing connections and transmissions, and verify that successful integration can be achieved between the system and external entities. *This includes:* Ø Completing registration and certification of all trading partners Ø Conducting trading partner testing Ø Conducting web-based transaction, batch transaction and file exchange testing Ø Conducting EDI transaction testing *Duties and Responsibilities:* Ø The Test Analyst will be responsible for writing and updating test scripts, executing testing, recording and resolving defects in coordination as well as communicating the status and progress of testing. Ø Working with project team to create Test documents. Ø Test case development, execution and defect management within HP ALM (formerly HP Quality Center). Ø Conducting Requirements Inspections. Ø Analyzing Business Process documentation, Context Diagrams, Design Documents and Business Requirements to design the specific testing assets that need to be created, including test cases, test data, roles, IDs, etc. *Ø* *Manually creating XML files for EDI (Electronic Data Interface) testing.(Must be an expert at manually creating these files)* Ø Creating required test artifacts and coordinating/participating in the artifact approval process. Ø Arranging testing facilities, training, and reference materials as needed. Ø Performing execution of test phases (run status, defects, and validation issues). Ø Coordinating defect resolution. Ø Reporting status and updating management on issues. Ø Confirming accuracy of post-Formal Integration Testing traceability reports. *Required Skills:* Ø Experience documenting testing-related validation documentation (Test Scripts/Cases, Summary Reports, etc.). Ø Experience with *HP Quality Center/ALM, Microsoft SharePoint* (Competent) Ø Effective analytical, problem solving and investigative skills. Ø IT workflow and process knowledge, including systems development lifecycle, specifically pertaining to Testing: Test Planning, Test Analysis/Design, and execution, including defect management. Ø Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative. Ø Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Ø Preferred: Prior experience in computer systems validation/testing within Medicaid Management Information Systems project (Managed Care HMO or PCP knowledge, Capitation, eligibility and enrollment experience).
