Need Locals or nearby candidates who can go for F2F interview We need database DBA architects.F2F interview after telephonic interview. Prefers locals. Location: downtown Chicago Rate: Open Duration: 6months Need database architect, must be strong in SQL Server and good with Oracle. Sybase is a big plus if they know that as well. *Database Development* · A Senior Database Administrator could play a role on various types of projects including: o Application development o Vendor system integration o Infrastructure upgrades and improvements · Project activities can include the following o Creating high level designs o Preparing for application testing (including creating test plans and detailed test scenarios) o Creating database designs (logical and physical design) o Performing construction tasks o Conducting tests (integration, system, performance, etc.) o Planning deployments (including updating system documentation) o Performing deployments o Performing post install production support. · Strong analytical / problem solving skills · Technology skills that relate to the specific projects or support areas. Potential examples include one or more of the following: o Database / stored procedure experience (Sybase database and / or Microsoft SQL Server) o Logical and physical database design o Object oriented development (Java or C# ) o Operating system knowledge (UNIX, Korne shell scripting or NT scripting) o Perl and C experience a plus · Solid design experience · Solid testing experience · Solid DBMS knowledge (Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase a plus) · Strong verbal communication skills (will often work closely with business areas / vendors) · Strong written communication / documentation skills · High level of productivity Professional approach to work -- Regards Alrek Business Solutions, Inc.
