Hello, I want to install opensolaris for the first time. I downloaded the 'os200805.iso' file from opensolaris.org but there is a problem when starting the live cd . Booting ' opensolaris 2008.05' . . . [b]Error 36 : Incorrect gunzip CRC cheksum[/b] see : the attached picture for more detail i have the same error on virtualbox OSE and on my laptop PC (IBM thinkpad R50e). [osol-discuss] Installation Problem
hi, I've installed SXDE 10 in my 40 GB HDD in whole disk space. Before that I have uninstalled XP by simply deleting that NTFS partition. Installation went fine but when I booted from HDD again it was showing me only console mode not a GUI mode. So I tried to reinstall SXDE but after creating partitions and all the selection process for installation [b]when i lclick on install button it gives me a error page saying Installation Fails see solaris log for more information[/b]..
