[openssl.org #345] openssl 0.9.6g
Hello, I am trying to configure/make the above version of ssl on my vanilla true64 5.1a unix box. I am receiveing the below error: Can't locate strict.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl-5.6.0/lib/5.6.0/alp ha-dec_osf /usr/lib/perl-5.6.0/lib/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl-5.6.0/lib/site_perl/5.6.0 /alpha-dec_osf /usr/lib/perl-5.6.0/lib/site_perl/5.6.0 /usr/lib/perl-5.6.0/lib/s ite_perl .) at ./Configure line 9. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./Configure line 9. I've tried a number of options and variations, including specifiying alpha-dec-osf but to no success. Would appreciate any thoughts/recommendations you may have. Hello Richard. Thanks for the response. After I sent this email, I did further research. It looks like I'm missing some directories under perl 5.6.0. I compared to another system and found and found where I was missing strict.pm. You can close this problem.
