Many thanks Alexey! That's exactly the information I needed. Re: [openstack-dev] [Fuel][plugins] VIP addresses and network templates
Hi Simon, When network template is in use, network roles to endpoints mapping is specified in section "roles" (in the template). So, "default_mapping" from network role description is overridden in the network template. E.g.: network_assignments: monitoring: ep: br-mon ... network_scheme: custom: roles: influxdb_vip: br-mon ... ... I hope, this helps. [openstack-dev] [Fuel][plugins] VIP addresses and network templates
Hi, I've got a question regarding network templates and VIP. Some of our users want to run the StackLight services (eg Elasticsearch/Kibana and InfluxDB/Grafana servers) on a dedicated network (lets call it 'monitoring'). People use network templates [0] to provision this additional network but how can Nailgun allocate the VIP address(es) from this 'monitoring' network knowing that today the plugins specify the 'management' network [1][2]? Thanks for your help, Simon [0] https://docs.mirantis.com/openstack/fuel/fuel-8.0/operations.html#using-networking-templates [1] https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-influxdb-grafana/blob/8976c4869ea5ec464e5d19b387c1a7309bed33f4/network_roles.yaml#L4 [2] https://github.com/openstack/fuel-plugin-elasticsearch-kibana/blob/25b79aff9a79d106fc74b33535952d28b0093afb/network_roles.yaml#L2 __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
