2017-06-01 Thread Brian Rosmaita
Having heard only affirmative responses, I've added Mikhail Fedosin to
the Glance core group, with all the rights and privileges pertaining
thereto.

Welcome back to the Glance core team, Mike!

I'd also like to express my personal thanks to you for stepping up to
help out the Glance project in these difficult times.

cheers,
brian

Re: [openstack-dev] [glance] nominating Mike Fedosin for glance core

2017-05-29 Thread Mikhail Fedosin
Thank you very much for your trust! I will try not to let you down, and be
with the project in these difficult times.

Despite the fact that most of the time I'm involved in the Glare project, I
agree that they have much in common. And at least they both share
glance_store library. For this reason, I'm thinking of implementing the
multi-storage support, where operators can create various settings for
different stores. For instance, having multiple connected ceph data stores.
The rest of the time I plan to review the code, write tests and fix minor
bugs.

I'm glad to be a part of the community!

Best,
Mike

[openstack-dev] [glance] nominating Mike Fedosin for glance core

2017-05-25 Thread Brian Rosmaita
As you've no doubt read elsewhere on the ML, we've lost several glance
cores recently due to employment changes. Luckily, Mike Fedosin

for the next few months to devote some time to Glance reviewing.
