As you said, they're not deleted, just abandoned.

Since six months ago would be 2/5/2016, pretty much you're looking at the specs 
older than that.

To be clear; abandoning a spec can be undone by a proposer simply by pushing a 
button. These are specs that all have negative feedback, would not cleanly 
merge, and need attention that they haven't gotten in the last six months.
