My experiences with setting up a local test env for that is at: http://markuszoeller.github.io/posts/2016/03/06/grafana-graphite-statsd/ Would love to have that for Openstack (at least the core projects). It would give that area more visibility which could incentivize people to work there. -- Regards, Markus Zoeller (markus_z) __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

As a public home, sure. Those existing data sets are in an odd format (and only 48hours long IIRC), and pretty restricted right now. If there was a good public pattern for pumping bug data into graphite (like hourly), that would be ideal, it would let us see some longer trends. -Sean -- Sean Dague http://dague.net __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

The thing I'd really like to see is trend lines for bugs in all open states over time (preferably in graphite) and the same thing for every official tag in the Nova bug pile. I find seeing a graph you can active work to burn down by closing artifacts is motivating to trying to chew through the outstanding issues. -Sean -- Sean Dague http://dague.net __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev
[openstack-dev] [nova][bugs] Useful metrics?
Previously Markus Z. did some great work in putting together a dashboard we've been using for bug queue maintenance. Are there additional reports or visualizations of the bug queue that might be interesting or useful for the team?
