[openstack-dev] [puppet] Stepping down from puppet core
Hello Puppeteers! I'd like to step down as a core review for the OpenStack Puppet. Unfortunately, as you could see I didn't participate in Puppet activities last few months. My career objective has changed and now I won't be able even to take a look on OpenStack Puppet. This was an exciting experience for me to work with you and I will never forget our meetings in Austin. We did several releases together, we applied common patterns for all our modules, implemented clear integration process for new projects and many many other cool stuff. I am glad that I worked with such strong leaders as Alex and Emilien! Puppeteers, I will miss all of you! __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

Your contribution as an operator is one of the reasons why Puppet modules are used in production today. Thank your for your time, for your feedback, for your openness, it was very appreciated. > I intend to still be contribute when I can and I’d like to thank > everyone for the hard work for the last two cycles. [openstack-dev] [puppet] Stepping down from puppet core
I’d like to step down as a core reviewer for the OpenStack Puppet modules. For the last cycle I’ve had very little time to spend reviewing patches, and I don’t expect that to change in the next cycle. In addition, it used to be that I was contributing regularly because we were early upgraders and the modules always needed some work early in the cycle. Under Emilien’s leadership this situation has changed significantly and I find that the puppet modules generally “just work” for us in most cases. I intend to still be contribute when I can and I’d like to thank everyone for the hard work for the last two cycles. The OpenStack Puppet modules are really in great shape these days. __ OpenStack Development Mailing List (not for usage questions) Unsubscribe: openstack-dev-requ...@lists.openstack.org?subject:unsubscribe http://lists.openstack.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openstack-dev

Mathieu, I would like to personally thank your for your mentoring in my early Puppet times ;-) You took any work conscientiously, you helped to setup lot of conventions, you were painstaking in your reviews and code. Mathieu, Thank you for all the work you've done over the past few years in this community. You've done a lot and also done a lot to help answer questions and mentor new folks. [openstack-dev] [puppet] Stepping down from Puppet Core
Hi, I would like to ask to be removed from the core reviewers team on the Puppet for OpenStack project. My day to day tasks and focus no longer revolve solely around Puppet and I lack dedicated time to contribute to the project. In the past months, I stopped actively reviewing changes compared to what I used to at the beginning when the project was moved to StackForge. Community code of conduct suggests I step down considerately. [1] I'm very proud of what the project managed to achieve in the past months. It would be a disservice to the community to pretend I'm still able or have time to review changes. A lot changed since and I can no longer keep up or pretend I can review changes pedantically or efficiently as I used to. Today is time to formalize and face the past months reality by announcing my wish to be removed from the core reviewers team. I will be available to answer questions or move ownership of anything I still have under my name. Wishing you the best.
