Well folks, I put in some long hours last week just to try and get something in
for Havana-2. It looks like every blueprint we were working on has been moved
out to Havana-3. Havana-3 is September 6th. But, following my highly subjective
formula ... I'd say if you aren't to a point you *think* you are done by August
15th I would say there is little chance you'll make it through review in time
for Havana at all.

Here's what we're watching...

Blueprints *moved* to Havana-3:
* https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/improve-vmware-disk-usage -
started but depends on
** https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/vmware-image-clone-strategy -
revising after review
*
https://blueprints.launchpad.net/nova/+spec/multiple-clusters-managed-by-one-service
 - good progress

It's not all bad news. The good news is that for Havana-2 we got fixes
committed for some very important bugs!

Havana-2 Bugs FIXED!

Critical
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1178369
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1183192
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1183452

High
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1180779

Medium
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1186944
* https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1192256

If you've not looked at +bug/1186944 I suggest you do. It turns out that this
patch is really really critical for real-world debugging and troubleshooting
work. The patch takes the old instance-00ffaa0011 (hex code for row index)
based instance names and replaces them with a UUID instead! This seems trivial
but it actually makes it so much easier to figure out what's going on when you
have to do real troubleshooting work for people. So I'm really for back-porting
this one ASAP. Good job Yaguang Tang!

Personally, I'll be finishing up my blueprint work and working on one bug this
week, once that's done, I'll shift the bulk of my attention to doing reviews.
I'll need someone to run the meeting in IRC for me on July 24th. Any volunteers?
