I am sure that that is the Correct Way to do it. We don't want another
process listening on a different port after we've put all this effort
into getting everything in WSGI. Is that doable in the time we have
remaining?

I think the best option is to run it as wsgi in the same Apache instance
as e.g. Horizon (and I guess Keystone and other services in the future
as well), just with a different leading path. Not sure how doable it is
though.

It would probably be nice to run it on port 80. Not sure if it will
collide with anything in undercloud. Horizon maybe?

Based on
http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/firewalls-default-ports.html
3000 should be unused so far. IANA has assigned 3000 and there is
widespread use colliding with it as well, but neither looks like
something that would collide in Undercloud:

hbci 3000tcpHBCI
[Kurt_Haubner][Kurt_Haubner]
hbci 3000udpHBCI
[Kurt_Haubner][Kurt_Haubner]
remoteware-cl 3000tcpRemoteWare Client
[Tim_Farley] [Tim_Farley]

This entry records
an unassigned but widespread use
remoteware-cl 3000udpRemoteWare Client
[Tim_Farley] [Tim_Farley]

This entry records
an unassigned but widespread use

So by the quick look the 3000 is likely as bad choice as any
unassigned for it by IANA one.

grafana from opstools uses the same port[1]

That being said, I wonder if someone would install both services on the
same node.
