Re: [openstack-dev] Spain Visa for Indian contributors

2016-09-15 Thread Janki Chhatbar
Hi Abhishek

I am Janki. I am applying for visa from India. I haven't applied yet but a
friend of mine is facing the same issue of needing an invitation letter in
Spanish.

May be everyone applying from India can request to have the letter in
Spanish too.

Let me know how you proceed further. It would help me while applying.

Thanks
Janki

Re: [openstack-dev] Spain Visa for Indian contributors

2016-09-15 Thread Kekane, Abhishek
Hi John,

I have sent mail to 'eventv...@openstack.org', waiting for positive reply.

One reply I got from Kendall is,

We only send the letter in English. No one else applying for a visa has had a
problem getting their visa with just the English letter so the letter you
received should be sufficient.

I will show this reply mail at VFS center and hopefully they will take no
objection about this.

Thank you for your time,

Abhishek Kekane

Re: [openstack-dev] Spain Visa for Indian contributors

2016-09-14 Thread Kekane, Abhishek
Hi John,

I have read the information given at
https://www.openstack.org/summit/barcelona-2016/travel/#visa
and got the invitation letter but it's in English language. Problem is that
Visa centers in India are demanding this invitation letter in English as well
as Spanish language.

Thank you,

Abhishek Kekane
