 Hi all,

 is not helpful

seems to be out of date.
I added comments to /sbin/mount_root (but it doesn't seem to be
executed at all) e.g. 'echo comment /tmp/test' or echo comment
 or logger comment
I only get feedback from /etc/init.d/boot .. but everything seems to
 be mounted there already.

I want to replace the jffs partition with the ext3 on an usb stick
during boot on brcm-2.4. Any help appreciated :)

On first boot it is mounted in /bin/firstboot. On subsequent boots it
is mounted in /sbin/mount_root

Re: [OpenWrt-Devel] sysupgrade info needed

I found out how to add /lib/upgrade/platform.sh to the build, and also
that the image is written to just a single mtd block.

But while testing (flashing went fine) I got a mount error, so what did
I miss?

r...@router:~# sysupgrade /tmp/openwrt-wrt350nv2-squashfs.all_ipv6.img
Saving config files...
Switching to ramdisk...
mount: mounting mini_fo:/jffs on /mnt failed: Function not implemented
Performing system upgrade...
Unlocking org_mtd0 ...
Writing from stdin to org_mtd0 ...
Appending jffs2 data to from /tmp/sysupgrade.tgz to org_mtd0...
Upgrade completed
Rebooting system...

Any hint greatly appreciated.

Is there a guideline how to add a machine (here WRT350Nv2) to sysupgrade?
Does sysupgrade expect to have the complete flash in mtd0, or can it
split between mtd0 kernel and mtd1 rootfs?
