[opnfv-tech-discuss] Edge Computing activities in and around OpenStack

2017-12-08 Thread Ildiko Vancsa
Hi All,

I would like to draw your attention to the recent activities in the area of
Edge Computing under the OpenStack Foundation umbrella.

We’ve started an industry-wide initiative to explore the needs and requirements
of Edge Computing related use cases with the aim of moving into design and
implementation phase early next year in the parts where we have enough clarity.
The discussions are focusing on technology and are not exclusive to OpenStack.

I would like to invite any of you who would be interested in participating to
join the mailing list [1] or one of the Working Sessions [2][3] from the series
running on Tuesdays, 1500 UTC, till the holidays this year.

You can find more details under the Edge Computing section of the OpenStack
wiki page [4].

Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Ildikó Váncsa
