[opnfv-tech-discuss] [OPNFV status] Scheduled : Gerrit Restart and Jenkins Plugin Updates + Restart

2018-05-09 Thread noreply
Gerrit Restart and Jenkins Plugin Updates + Restart : Scheduled

Scheduled Start: May 11, 2018, 20:00 UTC
Scheduled End: May 11, 2018, 22:00 UTC

Gerrit Restart
After installing the gerrit-reviewers plugin last Wednesday our testing found
that though we could configure the plugin it was not performing as it should.
Restart Gerrit should fully initialize the plugin and allow it it work as
intended.

Jenkins Plugin Updates + Restart
There are several pending plugin updates, one of is blocking our transition
to a newer version of Jenkins Job Builder, which is causing some projects
using the multijob plugin to be misconfigured. Two additional plugins: NodeJS,
and TextFinder are also being installed.
Jenkins will need to be restarted as required when a new version of a plugin
is installed.

[opnfv-tech-discuss] [release] Release naming for OPNFV "H" and "I" releases

2018-05-09 Thread David McBride
Team,

It's time, once again, to identify the river names that we will use for our
next two releases. The process starts by identifying a group of
candidates, then we will poll the community on a ranking to determine the
name.

In order to create a good list of candidates, we have developed some guidelines
for selecting river names
.
Please make sure that you review the guidelines before you start suggesting
names.

For the "H" release, we are suggesting that the community select names from
Oceania (i.e., Australia, New Zealand, Micronesia). Please add your
nominees here

.

For the "I" release, we are suggesting that the community select names from
Central America, South America, or the Caribbean. Please add your nominees
here

.

*Nominations will close one week from Friday on May 18.*

Let me know if you have any questions.

David

Sorry for the delay in reply. After my initial reporting, I backed down
to vsperf stable/fraser release which worked without any issues and did
not have time to go back head of git to try again. Will report back
when I have some bandwidth.

Thanks,
-DilipD.

Hi, Greg,
Thank you very much for the great work done as Fuel PTL. I think we wouldn’t
have a Fuel@OPNFV today without you, so we’re all thankful for that!

BR,
Alex

Subject: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [Fuel] call for PTL elections

Hi folks,
As many of you remember, I have stepped down as Fuel PTL, but we have never had
an election to appoint a new one. Time to correct this issue.

We need to elect a new Fuel PTL.
Any active project committer is allowed to run.

However I would like to nominate Alexandru Avadanii for his extra ordinary
contributions to the project over the last several years.

Voting period is open for one week. Project committers are allowed to vote.
Committers please respond with the name of the candidate for PTL you support.

Thanks
Greg

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [VSPERF] trex_vm_tput KeyError: 'scapy'

2018-05-09 Thread Klozik Martin
Hi Dilip,

have you modified any configuration file? If so, could you please send us patch
with your modifications? (e.g. output of "git diff" or "git diff master" in
case you've created your branch).

As Sridhar has mentioned, it can be caused by outdated configuration or by
accidental reconfiguration of TRAFFIC array (e.g. by TRAFFIC = {... } inside
10_custom.conf).

Best Regards,

Martin

Dilip,

Do you see 'scapy' dictionary within TRAFFIC dictionary in conf/03_traffic.conf?
Looks like your traffic dictionary definition is old.

Sridhar
