Hi Ray,

Thanks a lot!
It’s awesome with you in OPNFV. You contributed a great deal since the very
beginning, and you are a really nice person.
Wish you good luck and hope we can grab a drink together in the future.

Dear Ray,

We will definitely miss you.

Thank you for taking Auto Project from the very beginning and escorting it
along the road.

Best of luck, and take care at the future way.

Thank you,
Tina

All,

I shared this news with some of the community members over the past several
days, and I wanted to notify the rest of the community.

I recently made a difficult decision to pursue a new opportunity outside of the
LF. Having been involved in OPNFV since the formation days, the thought of
leaving the community isn't easy. This is especially the case since I just
spent the entire week with many community members at ETSI during the Plugfest.
I was again reminded that I'm part of a wonderful & motivated community.

My last day at the Linux Foundation is on June 22nd, and I'm working with both
Phil & Heather on transition plans so that things don't get dropped.

I sincerely hope that our paths will cross again. I'm still going to be
involved in open source software, so I'm definitely not going too far.
Wherever and whenever our paths cross, I hope we can share a drink soon

Regards,

Ray

[opnfv-tech-discuss] 答复: [yardstick] TC074

2018-06-04 Thread Limingjiang (Rex)
Hi Mark,

Sorry for the late reply.
I think Jing can help you more on tc074.
From my view, the storperf docker is not running via these steps. Yardstick
utilize storperf docker-compose.yaml to run storperf docker, but the steps
don’t include the script [1] to copy storperf docker-compose.yaml to the right
place.

Hello,

I'm still trying to recreate a problem with TC0074, and am not quite sure how
to run it. Following the guide [1], I have done the env prepare and
successfully run the ping test case. I am now trying to get StorPerf started.
I ran the install, which completed successfully in very little time:

2018-05-28 Thread Limingjiang (Rex)
Hi all,

Thank you very much, Ross. I'm very happy to have you as the PTL and learns a
lot from you.
During your leading in last 2 releases, both Yardstick and the team grow up
swiftly. You're such a responsible and professional leader and helps us a great
deal.

Thanks to the whole Yardstick team. Yardstick is nothing without your great
contribution. You are always the most valuable people behind Yardstick.
Thank you Emma, you are very reliable teammate and very nice person. And I
really respect you as a competitor.

In my view, the only change of Yardstick would be that I have to work much
harder for Yardstick and the whole team because it's my honor and pleasure!
Thank you all again!

Best Regards,
Rex

Re: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [yardstick] Yardstick PTL Election

2018-05-08 Thread Limingjiang (Rex)
Hi Yardstick Team and OPNFV members,

Firstly, thanks Ross for his great work during Euphrates and Fraser in
Yardstick. I’m impressed by his passion as PTL and professional technical
competence. Yardstick won't definitely be here without his effort and hard
working.

Secondly, I volunteer myself to be a candidate of Yardstick PTL election in
Gambia.

I've been quite active in Yardstick Team for more than 2 years and contributed
120+ commits since Colorado. I played many roles in each release of Yardstick.
For Yardstick, I've been working on framework enhancement, Grafana, RESTapi,
GUI, CI and user support. Besides, I cooperated with other projects like HA,
IPv6, Bottlenecks and Dovetail. For community, I worked on reporting, gating
and long duration test. I also join testperf meeting frequently.

We're now doing something great in Yardstick project, like self-functional
test, migrating to shade client, new plugin mechanism, ansible evolvement, unit
test improvement, open RESTapi and Web GUI, NSB, HA, k8s test cases … As a
PTL, I would like to continue these work and evolve in 4 directions below:
(Include but not limited)
1. Complete test ability on NFV specific Test cases. More HA test cases,
more EPA test cases, more k8s based test cases and NSB test cases …
2. Continue framework evolvement. Make Yardstick framework more usable and
stable with enhanced plugin mechanism, and may also be reused by other project.
3. Improve user experience. The features include Web GUI, test report and
Grafana dashboard improvement, user guide and videos. And also Yardstick test
ability as a service.
4. Open community cooperation. Feature/Testing projects, CD process support
and OVP compatibility support for commercial products.

I would appreciate it if you vote for me.

Best Regards,

Rex

Subject: [opnfv-tech-discuss] [yardstick] Yardstick PTL Election

Hi OPNFV community,

In accordance with the Yardstick PTL election process[1], I am announcing a
Yardstick PTL election.

Calls for nomination will be open for two weeks and will end on May 21st.

The election is open to any Yardstick committer[2] (+2/-2). After the
nomination period we will have one week to vote[1].

As I have been Yardstick PTL for two releases (Euphrates and Fraser), I am
stepping down as PTL. It has been an honor to serve as Yardstick PTL and work
with this amazing team and community.
