They should be able to provide examples of logical/physical data models that they created or improved. In addition, they should be able to explain in detail dependent processes that they established such as ETLs, updating/deleting data in Cassandra, keeping dependent tables current with source tables. Using Spark to produce analytics that leveraged Cassandra. In detail, they should be able to explain what is necessary to operationalize Spark/Cassandra to support a production environment. For additional items, experience with: • Git / GitHub • Gradle / Maven • Jenkins / Go CD • Workflow manager for Spark Jobs • Any administrations experience with Spark and Cassandra would be a plus Skills: *Apache Spark is a must have *Cassandra *Build tools *Linux *Scala is highly preferred. Complete breakdown of required and preferred skills listed as follows: 1. Cassandra (2.1) data modeling and CQL (3.2). Administration would be a big plus 2.
