*MUST BE GREEN CARD or US CIT – 6 MONTH CONTRACT TO PERMANENT* *RATE: 50/hr.C2C* *Will need to do a PHONE Interview then IN PERSON* *LOCATION: RICHMOND, VA* Serve as a Microsoft Business Intelligence Developer for IT Data Warehouse development team with a focus on the design, development, maintenance, integration, data governance and reporting of business systems through reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Viable candidates must have at least 2+ years’ experience in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server BI platform. Business systems and data sources include, but are not limited to: - Microsoft Dynamics AX - SharePoint - SQL Data Warehouse - 3rd Party Applications *CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Developing business intelligence solutions. - Maintain weekly status report to keep the project manager updated on the status of report development. - Actively participate in planning and status meetings with the Strategic Solutions team. - Other duties as assigned *EXPERIENCE: * - Expert-level proficiency and a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server - Experience with business intelligence and enterprise reporting solutions, proficiency with Microsoft BI tools including SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Studio and/or Business Intelligence Development Studio. - Superior general computer skills, including expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Experience with Tableau. - Experience with Microsoft Power BI is preferred but not required. - Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred but not required. - Experience with Maestro is preferred but not required. *EDUCATION: * - A bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field. Required experience: - MS SQL Server 2012: 2+ years - Business Intelligence: 2+ years - SSAS Tabular models - DAX and MDX. - Front-end BI Tools: Tableau, Excel Pivot, SSRS - DW/DM architecture, T-SQL, SSIS - SSAS multi-dimensional models - SQL BI: SharePoint 2013 hosted MS BI solutions and architecture - MDS: MS SQL Server Master Data Services infrastructure (for MDM) - Direct business user interface experience: communication – verbal, written, presentation. Maestro (optional): third party layer from Profisee on top of MS MDS that makes MDS usable/practical.
