*Job Description*

·         Our new Agile Software Development Lifecycle group is seeking an
engineer to aid the organization in administering and supporting various
tools critical for delivering software.



*Job Requirement*

·         Strong experience using* Excel (Macros) *

·         *Prior experience using tools to support software delivery. (HP –
Quality Center, Load Runner, Rally, JIRA, BluePrint, etc.) *

·         Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills

·         Problem solving skills

·         Learn and master new tools, skills

·         Demonstrating ownership of issues until they are closed

·         The ideal candidate must be able to gel well with diverse groups,
especially when training, listening and supporting issues raised by
offshore members. Have face-to-face conversations with project members in
the organization and build rapport.



*Job Responsibilities*

·         Perform tool audit to understand current landscape (Who, what,
why)

·         Define and publish support process for tools applied during
software delivery (Example: We have several tools that our onsite/offshore
teams use for functional/regression/performance testing, cost estimation,
project management.)

·         Act as the Liaison between Managed Service Provider teams,
Project Managers and Vendors during troubleshooting/escalation.

·         Assist with migration activities Ex: Migrate to new business
requirements tool, Agile portfolio Management tool, new source code
repository, QA tool, etc.

·         Coordinate and communicate vendor driven patch upgrades, tool
downtime/maintenance, etc.

·         Build a knowledge base of issues being reported and publish them
on SharePoint site.

·         Train new IT employees (Direct, Consultant, Key MSP members) to
ensure that new hires have the necessary training before assigned to a
project/team.

·         Maintain Roll-based Access Control - Create, Delete, Inactivate,
Upgrade user access and roles for various tools.

·         Coordinate with new Vendors, Procurement and our DevOps
consultant for seeking Trial versions, Proof of Concepts, etc.

·         Measure current state and where improvements are applied.

·         Facilitate group sessions for training, triage, issue resolution.

·         Meeting with leadership, vendors, managed service providers, etc.
