*Position: Java/JavaScript with Adobe LiveCycle workflows* *Location : Tallahassee, FL* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Interview Mode: Telephonic / Skype * *Job Responsibilities* · Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization’s architectural standards. · Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. · Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code. · Responsibilities may also include participation in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. · Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies. · Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. · Experience: Typically has 2 to 5 years of programming/systems analysis experience. · Complexity: Intermediate professional level role. · Develops solutions requiring analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments and possesses knowledge in a specific business area. Works on one or more projects as a project team member or occasionally as a project lead. · May coach more junior technical staff. The Java and JavaScript developer will be part of a team that that creates and develops Adobe LiveCycle workflows for the entire agency. *The specific tasks required of this position will be to: * · Implement workflow and routing rules via Adobe LiveCycle · Integrate workflow processes with various data sources and web services · Provide business and workflow analysis on processes used by the agency · Document program specifications · Research and document and facilitate user requirements collection with program users · Working with network administrators, systems analysts and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems? · Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff *Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) * · 5+ years of experience using JavaScript · 5+ years of experience using XML, HTML, and CSS · 5+ years of experience using SQL · Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs · Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies · Skilled in business analysis · Skilled in system design · Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design/specifications and assigned application software systems. · Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. · Ability to work independently. · Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments. · Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. *Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) * · Adobe Technologies: LiveCycle Designer/Workbench, Acrobat XDP model/ PDFA · Workflow Analysis Skills · Proficiency in Visio · Experience with backend data integration such as HTTP, Web Services · Ability to facilitate communication between IT and business users. · Web Services SOAP/REST · Other relevant KSA’s that can be applicable.
