Immediate Need JAVA Developer- Need Local to DC VA MD *Position : JAVA Developer* *Location : Rockville MD* *Duration : 6+ Months* *Description:* He is looking in the short term to improve tools that they are using in AWS. Ideally looking for JAVA Developer and interacting with AWS, not just using it as a platform and use the APIs to compare against internal development. Python is a big plus. Python has been historically used as a scripting tool within infrastructure, but is now being used with web applications. Must be able to negotiate requirements and have good communication skills. He is searching for a Developer – he is doing departmental automation. Security vulnerabilities is not a deal breaker. But having that would be a big plus to find more work for this temp. AWS and Python are tools they will be using. Having that experience would be a huge plus. a desire to use agile methodologies expected. In addition to Java experience, knowledge of and experience with AWS APIs, as well as experience with Python is very desirable.
