Must-haves
6+ years as J2EE/Java developer with enterprise web development experience
Very Strong experience with Spring and Hibernate
2 plus years of experience with Eclipse
UML - 4+ years of Project Experience
Plusses
Experience with UCM, ClearCase, ClearQuest, RUP, SOA, XML technologies
Day-to-Day
Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and
documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more
user areas. May include hands-on new development as well as support,
maintenance or enhancement of existing applications. Works closely with
client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and
processes. Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes
recommendations.
Adhere to Commercial Card IT coding standards, procedures, and techniques.
Contribute to the technical code and design documentation.
Understand/apply reusable code design, leverage application
architecture/framework capabilities and functionality, and design/develop
solutions that are highly reliable, scalable, and perform to meet
business-defined service levels.
As a development lead, you will also be responsible for conducting code
reviews and ensuring quality solutions are built and tested.
Advanced knowledge of Java programming language, J2EE technologies,
application servers, software architecture, open-source technologies, and
software development methodology.
