*Title: Product ManagementLocation: Oak Brook, Illinois (IL 60523)Duration: Full time* Overview: •The Product Manager is the product champion and market expert. •The primary role of the position is to objectively ensure branded products reflect customer values through regular and on-going interface with the customer. •The Product Manager provides strategic product direction and tactical execution to the sales, engineering and manufacturing teams to achieve new business and profitability targets. Day-to-day: •Identify market segments. Regularly conduct market research to determine the best opportunities for growth. •Coordinate activities with strategic marketing, marketing communications, sales, purchasing, manufacturing and service as required. •Provide competitive analysis; feature benefit analysis, market and price positioning for new and existing products to company employees, dealers and customers. •Author Strategic Plan and AOP sections relevant to their product area. •Oversee development of marketing publications; product information, training packets, brochures, spec sheets, and new product launch packets. •Develop pricing strategies with sales for whole goods with consideration of costs, competitive situation, and margins.
