Location:Manhattan, NY Duration:6-12 MONTHS Job Description: This role is for a strong front end developer in the Prime Services Technology group. It requires expert level knowledge of Tableau (version 9.3/above) and good SQL skills. An understanding of the Prime Service (mainly Securities Lending) business is necessary. The position involves working closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and infrastructure team. Roles/Responsibilities: Work closely with business stakeholders in the Prime Service business in defining business requirements and creating the BRD, FRD and other technical documents. Analyze the data in various databases/systems and calculate the various metrics to be reported on the Tableau dashboards. Design, develop, test, deploy and support the Tableau dashboards. Change the server setting and tune the dashboards for performance. Design, develop, test, deploy and support windows application developed on .NET Update JIRA and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Education and Work Experience: Around 7 years of software development experience with expertise in Front-end development. Knowledge of Stock Lending business and overall Prime Services. Expert level skills in Tableau dashboard development with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture. Strong understanding of advanced features in Tableau like table calculations, joins, data blending, parameters, calculated fields, row-level security and dashboard actions. Hands-on experience scheduling data refreshes, determining data strategy (live connection or extract) and plan a backup strategy. Excellent database querying skills using SQL on Oracle and SQL Server. Understanding of version control, release management, debugging and trouble-shooting.
