Job Title : Websphere ATG Consultant Location : Remote, part time Duration : 3-4 weeks Skills And Job Description : Expertise supporting/enhancing all aspects of an enterprise IBM Commerce application including: WebSphere Commerce Suite (V6/7), IBM HTTP Server, WebSphere Application Server, Aurora starter store, Extended Sites, IBM PMR Process, B2B/B2C, Social Commerce WCS subsystems such as User, Catalog & Products, Inventory and Order Java/DDL/HTML/CSS design, development/troubleshooting/support of both out-of-the-box and custom components Ability to rapidly understand and independently resolve issues in both domains Best practice and custom data transfer technologies such as Web services, S/FTP Troubleshooting skills (tier-3 caliber) of production and pre-production environments Third-party integrations (e.g. tax, shipping, payment gateways, notification) Search Services (e.g. SOLR) Command-line and console driven administration (Management Center, Dynacache, WAS/WCS Registry, Staging prop, data model / data load) SVN source control management and WCBD build and deployment Akamai edge network/global caching/CDN technologies Proficiency in local development using Rational Application Developer (RAD) Server installation across the platform (including clustered) and application of hotfix and version upgrades. Performance testing and tuning of both the server and JVM and ability to perform root cause analysis within (java core / system / heap dumps / log analsys) and isolate issues other domains (e.g. hardware and networking) Develop Commerce infrastructure strategies for scalability on demand and stability with a goal of near zero downtime Proficiency with: Windows and Linux (scripting and command-line log analysis) environments DB2/Oracle PCI/PII/SPI data, security/encryption processes Networking (e.g. firewalls, load balancers) Reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics and Omniture) Search engine optimization (SEO) Internationalization Strong written and verbal communication skills including detail orientation for tasks such as deployment documentation. Technical review of proposed software architectures and implementation and integration labor estimates Ability to play technical lead role for presales pursuits.
