Applicants must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Fiber Channel & NAS storage arrays, fiber channel switch environments, tape libraries and server backup software. Potential hires must have a functional understanding of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems with strong understanding how disk subsystems work on these platforms. Interested individuals should also be able to demonstrate a limited knowledge of layered file system products, such as LVM, Veritas and ZFS. OSSI currently manages storage environments with over 2500 ports, 4 petabytes of storage space and more than 14 backup environments from vendors such as EMC, IBM, HP, Brocade, Oracle and Cisco.
