*Job Description: *

The Senior Java Developer is a member of a project team responsible for
implementing end-to-end automation of the Software Development Lifecycle.
Job duties include:

• Convert existing Java applications to use Maven for dependency management

• Work with various teams to enable existing applications to use an
automated build pipeline

• Help implement development methods, guidelines, and best practices for a
development automation suite that will work with agile and traditional SDLC
processes

• Comply with company Information Security Policy and Procedures



*Required Skills: *

• Critical to have experience with source and dependency management
technologies such as git and maven

• Strong object oriented design and coding skills in Java, Spring,
Hibernate, Junit (6+ years) required

• Experience with both front end (jQuery, Backbone, Bootstrap, json) and
back end development

• Experience with REST, and API based design

• Experience with Apache, JBoss, and MySQL and distributed (multi-tiered)
systems important

• Some experience with Agile Test driven development, Continuous
Integration and Continuous Deployments is desirable

• Experience with technologies such as gradle and jenkins desired

• Familiarity with Linux-based systems desired



Qualifications:

• Very strong oral and written communications skills is required

• Eager and willing to explore new technologies and quickly learn new
technologies

• Ability to take initiative to communicate, interact, influence and
cooperate with others.
