It will start in Marlborough, MA but will move to Smithfield, RI in October 2011 PWI Voice Technology and Telephony Team are seeking an entrepreneurial and results-oriented JAVA development professional to design, develop, implement and maintain creative software solutions that leverage both existing and emerging technologies. * Responsibilities* As a member of a the Voice team , this individual will leverage their background of design and development skills to define, prototype and implement new solutions as well as support a number of existing applications. Individual would participate in development of customer facing applications across mid tier and presentation layers. A proven track record in software engineering in a large enterprise environment is required. This individual will work closely with a number of internal architecture teams, internal business partners and 3rd party service providers to recommend and deliver solutions to complex problems. Strong communication skills (oral and written) are a must. Strong analytical skills including research, technology analysis and selection, performance analysis, prototyping, and debugging are required. Project management skills (project plan development, project tracking methods) are required. Strong influential and communication skills are desirable. Position requires the use of broad software engineering knowledge and experience to develop innovative software solutions. Expert understanding and experience with the full development life cycle process including: planning, analysis, design, coding, systems and user testing, problem debugging and resolution. Candidate must present a proven track record in providing recommendations and/or solutions to complicated problems for large cross-organizational projects with inter-disciplinary teams. Experience in developing and presenting designs and prototypes is required
