USG direct client is looking for *Java  Architect *at* Columbus ,OH*


*Technical/Functional Skills:-*

· Strong Java, J2EE

· SOA

· REST and WEB Services

· SQL & Stored procedures

· XML



*Roles & Responsibilities:-*



· Experience in developing REST and WEB services

· Real time integration experience with JAXB and JAXRS

· Strong experience in XML

· Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large
and/or architecturally significant applications

· Experience developing architectural framework at enterprise level

· Experience in writing PL/SQLs and Stored Procedures

· Understanding of agile methodologies

· Retirement Plans Business domain knowledge

· Java Application Server with WebSphere products

· Common web technologies such as HTML5, Javascript, CSS, REST, and
SOAP and web development integration approaches as TOGAF and SOA

· Design tools, design patterns, and UML diagramming

· Competent in creating transactional applications in Java/JEE &
application integration.

· Experience in Angular JS, Rest Services and some Database skills

· Provide architecture presences on assigned project(s).

· Ensures programs and projects meet functional and non-functional
requirements

· Document architecture for those projects on time and with quality.

· Assists project team with estimates

· Provide assistance on other architecture items as needed

· Candidate should have the ability to make decisions and
recommendations on technology strategies while considering

· various options and business needs

· Should have excellent oral and written communication skills

· Knowledge of retirement plans /financial services is a plus.



*Generic Managerial Skills:-*



· Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment

· Experience in sharing the knowledge, lessons learnt & best
practices with the team

· Ability to mentor & groom any junior members in the team

· Take up challenges & willingness to work in grey
