Try using the 'Home Selector' utility to set the appropriate default home and then give it a go. HI, May be the version of the ODBC is not compatible with the SQLNET you installed. I had a problem between Oracle 8i Client and ODBC V2.5. Put a copy of tnsnames where MS ODBC wants it? Check if MS ODBC support name server or Directory services? The recommend staying with the 8.1.7 Oracle client if you want to use their driver.
