*Technical Expertise*

· Proven experience with Oracle Database technology
with following focused areas:

· Hands-on experience with Oracle installation,
upgrade, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and
backup / recovery procedures.

· 10 years or more experience with Oracle database
administration

· 3 years or more experience with Oracle RAC and
replication

· Clustering experience

· Understanding of database concepts and experience in
data modeling, physical and logical database design.

· Experience and strong understanding of Oracle RAC,
replication and partitioning (multi nodes 3+)

· Experience in writing database related queries,
developing and implementing stored procedures

· Able to detect and resolve database issues and
problems in a Production environment

· Experience and strong knowledge with UNIX shell
scripts

· Prepare detailed specifications for enhancements and
modifications to new and existing systems.

· Create technical documentation and method of
procedures for enterprise installations

· Establish / recommend policies and standards for
databases

· Perform security updates, patch installation and
audits

· Assist management in the planning and implementation
of information systems

· Experience with integration of systems within a web
environment

· Experience with Web Logic , Siebel and WebSphere
Application Server administration is beneficial

· Strong Unix/Solaris hands on experience





*Education/Experience*

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software
engineering or relevant field.

· 8-10 years’ experience required





*Responsibility Level*Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction
from supervisor

*QUALIFICATIONS:*


-Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS or Engineering/Technology or related
field or equivalent experience/training
-5+ years experience of database testing in PL/SQL, MS SQL Server, Teradata
and ORACLE
-5+ years of professional Corporate Data Warehousing & ETL experience
(Datastage/Informatica)
-8+ years software testing/QA experience
-8+ years of QA and/or application development experience
-Good knowledge of testing methodologies (SDLC, Agile, etc.);
-Must have solid understanding on Data Quality and data management.
-Airline knowledge/experience;
-Data analysis tools experience (Quest TOAD suite, Informatica DVO)
-Testing tools experience (MS Visual Studio Team System, QC, Test Director,
others)
-Solid understanding of relational databases;
-Change agility, good verbal and written communication skills, detail
oriented.
-Demonstrates initiative, follow-through, sound business judgment.
