A specialty analyst/developer typically has a Bachelors degree or equivalent training with previous experience and have niche skills that demand 10-20% above a standard programmer. As the levels progress, the years experience increase along with leadership expectations, with the introduction of a supervisory role at Level 4. The technical skills, including the knowledge of computer hardware and software, increase across levels, starting from basic at Level 1 to expert at Level 5. *o 8-10 years experience required * *Skills *o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required) o Strong ability to work independently and manage ones time (Required) o Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) o Strong knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computer hardware and software (Required) o Strong knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models (Required) o Strong knowledge of niche computer software, such as Oracle, CSharp.net, Lawson, etc (Required) *Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: *o Make modifications to existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance o Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design o Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration o Counsel customers about software system design and maintenance o Counsel systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces o Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation o Supervise the work of programmers, technologists and technicians and other engineering and scientific personnel, as well as develop code Experience with Drools Flow Qualification Rating AA Company Default Category Agile Methodology * 5+ Yrs. *HTML * * 5+ Yrs.
