*Position Title : Java Developer * *Location : New York, NY * *Position Description * The candidate will be involved in design, development and delivery of technology solutions for the *Credit Derivatives* business focusing on Trade Capture, Clearing, Business Events Processing and Report. This person will work with a local team lead and other development teams globally. The responsibilities for this role include: · Own one or more projects and work requests within Credit Derivatives Trade Flow practice area. · Responsible for architecting solutions for new projects and enhancements to existing functionality. · Be fully engaged the development life cycle, technology selection, and software delivery Skills Required: The ideal candidate is an extremely strong hands-on technician. He or she should have demonstrable technical experience on the Java and/or C# platforms. *Skills Required * · Strong experience with design and development of large scale enterprise systems. · Strong experience and understanding of middleware technologies. · Strong experience in software infrastructure and framework based software design and development · Hands-on technical experience delivering solutions using Java and C# including: OO Design and Programming, Distributed Architecture Design. · Experience with multithreaded programming and concurrency · Experience with relational databases *Skills Desired * · Excellent analytical and systems design skills · Excellent collaboration/teaming skills · Ability to communicate effectively across all levels within Technology, Business and Operations · Ability and experience in effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously · Excellent presentations skills: communicate in a clear and concise manner; individually or in front of a group.
