*SAP BW Developer (Backend)* *Location: West Michigan* *Duration: 3 Months* *Rate: Keep it low* *Primary Skills:* 2 years of solid BO and Xcelsius experience *Secondary Skills:* SAP, BW 3.5, AIX 5.3, SAP Portal 6.0, BO 3.1, Solid BW Backend and BEx, ABAP, Custom Update Rules using ABAP, ABAP programming and database experience *Required Skills: * *Technical Qualifications * • 3 Years of Solid BW Backend and BEx. • 2 Years of solid ABAP • 2 years of solid BO and Xcelsius • Strong in custom update rules using ABAP • Strong in trouble shooting experience • ABAP programming and database experience • The individual must posses strong back-end data modeling skills, including the design and architecture of the BW landscape (the organization of data within the ODS and cube levels), design, build, and test of custom extractors, ODS, Cubes, reports, update and transfer rules, and mapping data from SAP R/3 and external source systems. *Create 7 Xcelsius dashboards that will be deployed on the internal SAP portal. * The primary activities will include us to install, deploy and configure the BO software, as a prerequisite for us to do the dashboard conversion project. In depth BO and BW knowledge will be required to determine the best combination of BW and BO functionality that will maximize performance and minimize development efforts. A requirement for these dashboards is the use of calculations / functions in order to calculate standard deviation and alerts for each of the new dashboards. * * *BW 3.5 * *AIX 5.3 * *Sap Portal 6.0 * *BO 3.1 * *List of activities to be performed by Consultant * • Assist with initial configurations of BO XI 3.1 on AIX 5.3 as needed • Integrate BO with BW 3.5, Oracle, flat files and other source systems • Security configuration for BO / Xcelsius, • Provide knowledge transfer to Security group for on-going maintenance. • Work with the internal BI team to develop these dashboards using BOBJ • Primary focus is to analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions that will meet or succeed requirements.
