*Job Description:*
- This position is a key contributor to the daily accounting and systems
operations of the company. This position will provide a broad range of
technical accounting and system support to the global finance team and will
work closely with the IT function.
- This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing financial
aspects of JD Edwards ERP system.
- The Business Analyst, Finance acts in a support role analyzing
specific and complex business problems within the JD Edwards ERP
application.
*Duties and Responsibilities*
- Support primary-use applications and functional areas within financial
applications in JD Edwards in a global environment. (General Ledger, Fixed
Assets, AP, AR, Inventory)
- Act as Subject Matter Expert in business functions supporting:
Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable, Central Data Management
including tasks such as:
- Manage Financial Administration (period close, business units &
chart of accounts)
- Maintain automatic accounting instructions (DM AAIs and AAIs) as
needed in daily business operations.
- Familiarity with Flex Accounting rules
- Review daily financial & inventory integrity reporting and analyze,
research, and correct any errors.
- Manage issues resolution with appropriate levels of urgency with
customers, helpdesk personnel and information technology groups using solid
negotiation and conflict management skills, escalating to management and
senior leadership appropriately.
- Demonstrate self-confidence while showing respect and support to
others.
- Participate in cross-functional problem solving teams
- Independently develop and nurture strong and appropriate relationships
with business and technical partners as well as customers in order to
advance system efficiency and overall IT perception and support.
- Other duties as assigned.
