*sh...@rekruiteasy.com <sh...@rekruiteasy.com>* Position: Cognos Developer Location: Warren NJ Duration:6+ Months *Job Description:* - Total 9+ systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects, with a minimum of 7 years of experience on Cognos 10 or greater & Oracle, Netezza - Hands-on experience with Cognos development - Hands-on experience on creating Frame work models - Insurance domain and Informatica knowledge is an added advantage - Strong technical expertise in Cognos with Oracle/Netzza. - Excellent interpersonal, written communication, persuasive and presentation skills. - Experienced in performing stakeholder interviews, requirements gathering, and user research. - Experience in establishing Guidelines, frameworks and best practices. *Responsibilities: * - Create / Define / Review Solution and Technical Architecture for Cognos Projects. - Ready to work as individual contributor if needed Gather and prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources to evaluate and demonstrate program effectiveness and efficiency. - Handle the client requests for detailed analysis on current application design with different groups from development team prospective - Providing accurate and timely estimates for tasks - Interact with the Client/Business understand Cognos requirements - Design complex Cognos Reports ? Involvement in all SDLC phases till deployment and work with the team to ensure timely and quality delivery as per release plan ?
