Title: *Infrastructure Architect* Location: *Deerfield, IL* Duration: *3 month contract to hire OR LONG TERM CONTRACT* *Must Haves* 10 years of experience working as a Solution Architect or Infrastructure Architect Experience working in an Engineering background Understanding of IBM Data Power Strong understanding of WAS (WebSphere Application Server) Knowledge of IBM MQ (middleware) Experience working with Agile methodology Understanding of Oracle Databases *Plusses* Understanding of Korn shell scripting (ksh) ODM – BPM knowledge *Day to Day* This consultant will be joining the client on a long term contract or contract to hire basis. On a daily basis they will be attending meetings with various teams envisioning end to end infrastructure architecture. They must understand the connectivity between different systems such as servers, security certificates, load balancers etc and how they all connect and effect one another. In addition they will be tasked with creating diagrams in MS Visio or a similar tool to hand over to business and IT teams. They must have a technical background as an engineer and a full understanding of IBM products as well as all components of infrastructure.
