Title: *Responsive Designer* Location: *Alpharetta, GA* Duration: *6 months CTH* Must be GC or Citizen *Job Description:* We are looking for an experienced, talented designer that will focus on creating html, css, and js for a web-based product. This person is responsible for building visual and interactive elements provided by the design team that users engage with through their web browser. Files will be handed off to back-end web developers, who will integrate their work. This person needs to have experience in responsive design, designing for both Macs and PCs, and all browsers. This candidate should provide an online portfolio that shows several examples of responsive sites they have created. This will be a 40-hour /week position that will require days in the office, but some work-from-home days will be available as well *Education/Skills Required:* Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years with web site creation. • Ability to work in a team environment: making pixel perfect sites that meet design requirements to hand off to the back-end development team. • A whiz with responsive displays. • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop; Ability to work with comps and redlines from the design team. • Strong HTML skills; Knowledge of how to use appropriate hooks in HTML to build and refine clean semantic HTML; Familiar with HTML5. • Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage. • In-depth knowledge of browser & device rendering quirks and how to address them. Strong JavaScript experience, familiarity with common libraries necessary, but able to read and write tight, modular, JS.
