Job: Storage Administrator
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6 Months Contract
*Job Description:*
· 7-10 years of experience with enterprise storage platforms
(Netapp)
· 7-10 years of experience with enterprise Fiber channel and
Ethernet storage networks (SAN)
· Expert scripting skills in one of the following languages
(ksh/bash/perl/SQL)
· Expert Knowledge of backup/recovery using NetApp data
protectionsuite (SnapVault, SnapMirror, OSSV)
· Expert in data storage protocols including CIFS, FC, FCoE, iSCSI,
and NFS
· Knowledge of TCP/IP networking DNS, LDAP, NFS, SMTP, Linux
Account Management
· Extensive knowledge of storage in highly virtualized VMware
environments
· Knowledge of Debian, Red Hat, Ubuntu, and Windows operating
systems.
· Working in an Enterprise MS Exchange E-mail environment preferred
· Knowledge of Fiber channel SAN concepts including hardware such
as Fiber switches, cable, connectors and cards, and necessary zoning on
Brocade switches
· Must have good network concepts and the ability to manage
multiple routes on a filer
· Must be able to perform global maintenance of all SANs including
Production, QA, and Patch
· Extensive knowledge in SnapMirror, Snap Vault, Filer View,
Snapshots, DFM, and other NetApp software is required
· 5-7 years of NetApp Administration experience including NetApp
hardware / software are required
· In-depth knowledge of Storage Devices and Storage Data management
tools is required
· Experience in the NetApp environment is necessary
· NetApp and Brocade Certifications are preferred
