Implement and administer data warehousing solutions on Oracle Exadata. Ensure the highest standards of availability, reliability, and performance and support maintenance outages. Coordinate and perform Oracle database installation, patching, and upgrades. Administer and support Oracle Application Express (APEX) environments (helpful but not essential) and Oracle Security infrastructure including Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) (helpful but not essential) and Enterprise User Security (EUS) (helpful but not essential). Develop and document procedures and scripts to automate repetitive or complex tasks. Design, develop, and maintain documentation for database environments, standards, and processes. Monitors, reports, and tunes for performance for multiple environments including development, test, and production environments. *Perform database refreshes via datapump or Rman cloning (essential). Oracle RAC experience is required!* Qualifications *Personal Specifications:* *Basic Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree or foreign educational equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field plus 5 years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in Information Technology. Included within the 5 years of Information Technology experience, a qualified candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in the following: facilitating incident management and change request processes utilizing ServiceNow or other ITIL Service Management Framework tool; performing configuration and administration on *Oracle ASM* and applying disaster and high availability techniques using *Oracle RAC and DataGuard*; maintaining and troubleshooting backup and recovery solutions using *Oracle RMAN*; troubleshooting and maintaining multi-Terabyte, 24x7 uptime *Oracle database systems on Linux operating systems*; administering *VLDB (20TB minimum)* databases on *Oracle Exadata appliance*s, which must include the use of *Oracle Data Miner technology*; implementing and supporting Oracle Apex environments for development and production environments; implementing and supporting *Oracle OVD/EUS *solutions for development and production environments; and, performing Oracle database performance tuning utilizing *AWR, ADDM, ASH and UNIX native commands*.
