Qualifications:

· 24 x 7 x 365 availability to support production environments
(including on-call support)

· *Background in Unix administration*

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Strong collaboration skills

· Familiarity with system monitoring, and day-to-day operations

· Experience with systems and services designed to support
multi-million customers is highly desired

· Experience with Solaris 10 and RedHat 6.

· *Familiarity with Oracle databases and SQL*.

· *Familiarity with WebLogic 8.1 and/or 11 G.*

· *Familiarity with VOIP and/or cable provisioning.*

· Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems.

· Experience with Splunk for data analysis and reporting.

· Experience dealing with complex workflows with both technical and
business logic constraints.

·Strong experience with at least one Unix-based OS.

·Strong Unix and network troubleshooting skills

·Experience with running java applications, preferably in a
clustered environment.

·Experience with SUN hardware and configuration

·Scripting and/or programming skills (e.g. shell, Perl, PHP)

·Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

·Experience supporting Oracle Weblogic 8+  (Desirable)

·Experience supporting Apache Tomcat and/or ActiveMQ (Desirable)

·Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or
university or equivalent training, education and experience

·Scripting and/or programming skills (e.g. shell, Perl, PHP)

·Understanding of http/https protocols and PKI

·Familiarity with relational databases and SQL  (Preferred)

·Awareness of system security best practices (Preferred)

·Understanding of identity management concepts  (Preferred)

·Experience with yum repositories (Preferred)

·Experience with IPv6, SAML, Splunk, SNMP (Preferred)
