This is in reference to the following position. ***** Please reply with resume, Rate and contact details ASAP ***** Job Title: Business Analyst (Application Support Specialist) Location: Chicago, IL Duration : 12 months Primary skills: Asset Management, Infra Management and trade exp JD: Application Support Specialist within the Front Office Tower: This role will focus on daily support of the Front Office platforms used by the Fixed Income Businesses. -Direct Experience in supporting a Pricing, Risk/PNL, Trade Capture, and Electronic Trading platform for a Trading Desk, or Fund. -Broad Asset Management knowledge with direct experience in at least 2 relevant domains: Portfolio Management, Trading, Asset/Position data. -Windows Desktop/Server troubleshooting. -Basic Linux/Unix Server troubleshooting. -Strong command of SQL, or T-SQL. -Experience in the coordination and management of release management processes. Preferred Skills: -Exposure to supporting Vendor applications (Aladdin, Charles River, or Bloomberg AIM preferred). -Understanding of Fixed Income Functional workflows. -Ability to troubleshoot networking issues (LAN/WAN). -RDBMS architectural understanding of Database Servers (Oracle, SQL Server, or other). -Good understanding of Database objects (Triggers, Stored Procedures, Views, etc).
