About you
Strong object oriented design skills and a track record of delivering
designs to market
Able to effectively communicate technical topics to Product Owners,
Stakeholders and other business team members
iOS Development experience
Strong understanding of Objective-C design patterns (MVC, etc.)
Experience integrating to backend systems with Webservices i.e. REST
Experience with Source Control solutions such as SVN, GIT
Experience with Storyboarding and Objective-C Blocks
Comfortable working with core data
Experience integrating 3rd party frameworks
Bachelors degree, Computer Science, Engineering or MIS/IT major preferred
Strong programming background and familiarity with at least one Object
Oriented language (i.e. either Java, C#, .NET, Objective-C or C++)
What You Will be Doing
Building iOS (Swift and Objective C) applications as well as have the
opportunity to learn and build mobile web (HTML5, CSS), and Android (Java)
mobile applications
Building enterprise applications
Gaining technical knowledge of software, hardware and open source
technologies
Interfacing with our clients, making technical recommendations
Helping evaluate emerging cross platform frameworks and mobile enterprise
application platform
Bridging gap between elegant front end design and existing enterprise back
end architectures
Working with experienced mobile developers and architects to foster your
experience and growth

• 5+ years of general development experience with at least 3 years
developing mobile applications.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing in Objective-C for iOS.



Requirements:

• Demonstrable Objective-C fundamentals, including a solid working
knowledge of core development frameworks for the iOS platform required.

• Mobile application architecture and design experience on both platforms
required.

• Broad general exposure to and experience with open source technologies,
tools, and frameworks that facilitate development for the iOS ecosystem.

• Experience with collaborative design, development, and documentation of

• Familiarity with Apple iTunes Connect application deployment tools and

Description
This position will fill an immediate need for a distributed application
developer with skills in mobile and web development. Candidate will help
develop and support United's employee mobile applicationsbeing developed in
iOS, Android and Windows. In addition contractor will have opportunity to
help support employee intranet site using Java/JSP. The candidate must have
extensive experience in building and deploying mobile applications.

Tasks to be Performed
Programming and analysis, working with the business to translate
requirements into mobile (primarily) and intranet (secondary) application
using a variety of software tools including Objective C, Xcode, Java,
Eclipse, Adroid Developer Tools, Visual Studio, .Net. Basically complete
suite of key skills to build across multiple mobile OSs.
Skillset Details
Degree required. Great communication skills, will be working and presenting
to business. Required 5+ years with mobile development required.
Desktop/intranet developement experience a big plus as well using Java/JSP.
Mobile skillset as Objective C, Xcode, Java, Eclipse, Adroid Developer
Tools, Visual Studio, .Net.
