*Role: Oracle Database Developer/Admistrator (PL/ SQL & Pro*C)* *Location: Tucker, Georgia* *Duration: 6+Months* *Experience: 7+years* *Rate: Open * *NOTE: * · LOCAL OF GEORGIA OR US CITIZEN ARE PREFFERED · EXPERIENCE AS A DEVELOPER/PROGRAMMER WITH *ELLUCIAN BANNER STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS* *Essential Responsibilities* · *Write PL/SQL and Pro*C program code for GPC customizations to Banner Student software.* · Assess and implement ancillary system integrations and interfaces. · Reapply existing GPC customizations to Banner baseline code when new releases delivered from vendor. · Assist in gathering functional requirements from customer as required to identify/negotiate requirements. · Analyze functional requirements and identify best solution to meet requirements -- i.e., best solution from these perspectives: initial cost, on-going cost, integration with existing baseline/custom code, sustainability of code, data security, data quality, simplicity of solution, GPC fit, etc. · Develop functional and technical specs per team documentation standards, to document agreement with customer on requirements and means by which software development meets those requirements. · Develop, test and debug program code in development environment to meet technical requirements. · Request and assure order in the migration of program changes from development to test to production environments. · Work with customer to develop and implement a test plan for integration-testing program changes in the test environment to assure they meet functional requirements. · Support implemented software in production.
