The Collaboration and Identity engineering team has an opening for a Sr. Directory Services engineer. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of End User Computing. The incumbent is accountable for high level maintenance of the architecture and design of identity and directory related services while providing escalation and advanced support to internal application teams and team members. This individual will contribute to the strategy and drive execution of the Identity services and infrastructure technology plans in support of BSC’s strategy. *Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* · Operates as a subject matter expert in Directory and Identity solutions · Define, publish, and maintain the Directory & Identity platforms, standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle · Lead proof-of-concept and prototyping efforts in both an infrastructure design and engineering capacity - collects, analyzes, and documents results; produces summaries and recommendations · Regularly interface with internal customers such as application teams leveraging BlueShield of California’s directory services as well as Security and Audit groups in regular regulatory and internal exercises · Participating and representing directory services within the organization at architectural, design, and engineering engagements · Collaborate with team members, partners/vendors and consultants to implement enterprise-class systems in accordance to industry standard best-practices · Provides leadership and technical assistance for supporting current and new business needs · Recognizes necessary improvements to service and provides recommendations - Maintain awareness of current direction and changes in new technology, advances in the computer industry and relevant systems · Mentors junior engineers to develop technical skills towards a senior position *Knowledge and Skills required:* · Minimum 7 years of experience as a Lead engineer in Active Directory and supporting Windows services such as DNS, DHCP, WINS, among others · Minimum 5 years of experience managing users, workstations and servers in a medium to large environment · Experience in designing, and leading disaster recovery tests and procedures for applicable technologies · Expert level knowledge of directory services based on Active Directory, and its main protocols such as Kerberos and LDAP · Experience in deploying Active Directory environments from the ground up including the design of: o OU structures and security delegation models o Group Policy and Group Policy Preferences o Site and Replication topology o Role-based access control · Highly proficient with technologies relating to the management of identities and certificates such as ADFS (and other Federation technologies), PKI, and Forefront Identity Manager · Experience in working with and managing infrastructure and AD management applications including NetIQ DRA, Quest Active Roles, Men and Mice, and Cyber-Ark · Scripting and programming experience in languages such as VBscript, Powershell, and .NET (VB, C#) with a focus on automation · Senior level knowledge of Windows Server operating systems; Windows Server 2003, 2008 to 2012 -- Thanks & Regards, ASHOK Sr. Technical Recruiter DVG Tech Solutions LLC.
