*Please let me know if you have some resource available for the below position. * *Role: Scrum Master* *Location: Charlotte NC (Prefer Candidates in NC or SC)* *Duration: 6 months* *The scrum master is the facilitator for a product development team that uses scrum, a rugby analogy for a development methodology that allows a team to self-organize and make changes quickly. The scrum master manages the process for how information is exchanged. The Scrum Master will coach and mentor the team on agile best practices. The Scrum Master will be responsible for sprint planning, and for ensuring that cross-functional coordination is occurring early and often. This position will also require a commitment to building a collaborative culture within our team.* *Required Skills:* · *2 years of experience with Agile/Scrum.* · *5 years of experience in a technology environment, software development environment preferred.* · *Results oriented approach with an eye toward “getting the details right”.* · *A Scrum Master certification, highly preferred.* · *Solid understanding of iterative development and incremental software delivery.* · *Servant leader with excellent communications skills. * *Nice to have:* · *Experience with Jira/Confluence.* · *Experience working with Virtualization technologies and architectures.* · *Experience developing applications in PHP, Java or other Object Oriented based languages.* · *Knowledge of PHP, AngularJS, AJAX, MySQL or PostGres, Linux and javascript.* · *Understanding of OOP (Object Oriented Programming).* *Key Responsibilities:* · *Serve as a Scrum Master for the development team.* · *Clear obstacles and develop a high performing team.* · *Provide daily hands-on support to the team.* · *Guide the team on how to use Agile practices and values to deliver projects faster.* · *Facilitate sprint planning, and coordinate retrospectives and demos.* · *Ensure cross-functional collaboration is occurring early and often.
