Location : NYC, NY *Primary Skills :* Crystal/BOBJ Reports, SAP HANA, SAP Business Explorer Query Designer (7.x) design experience *Job Discription :* v Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or relevant work experience. v 5+ years of experience as a Crystal/BOBJ Reports Developer. v 5+ years of strong SQL and PL/SQL programming experience. v Oracle 11G and SAP HANA experience required. v Ability to troubleshoot performance problems with SAP Business Objects software such as Web Intelligence, Universes, Crystal Reports, and BOBJ server. v Advanced skill in the development of Business Objects Web Intelligence reports and Dashboards. v Good understanding of data modeling and complex database schema. v Thorough understanding of the principles of computer systems validation, SDLC methodologies and testing best practice. v Strong communication and interpersonal skills ensuring the ability to interact with the business, peers and vendors in a professional manner. v Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision. v Excellent oral and written communication skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : v Develop, design and test BO Reports based on user requirements. v Analyze current production Reports and improve performance. v Define and design the universe, BI Dashboards and reports. v Work with the customer to gather specifications for data and report requirements. v Effectively translate end user reporting requirements into functional design documents. v SAP Business Explorer Query Designer (7.x) design experience. v SAP BusinessObjects Analysis, edition for Microsoft Office 1.4. v Familiar with SAP BW InfoCube/Multicube structure as it relates to BW Query Design. v Systematically identify and define problems, evaluate alternatives and implement effective solutions. v Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements. v Develop and mock-up prototype reports to demonstrate user requirements. v Build test cases and perform comprehensive testing.
