Knowledge of Data Studio, Optim Query Workload Tuner, IBM DB2 ToolsDeep knowledge of DB2 ZPARMs and their impact on DB2 sub-system/DB behavior Worked extensively with DB2 Utilities, DB2 ToolsKnowledge of COBOL, CICS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Stored ProceduresProduction on-call supportUsed DB2 Explain to provide performance recommendations and identify issues, developed procedures to identify potential issues with purely written queries Performed recovery on a production DB/tables Knowledge of Omegamon XE for DB2 and how to troubleshoot issues using itWorked closely with DB2 Systems programmers to install new software and customize it according to environment requirements. Ability to run PoC for new Products, create evaluation and test plans and then perform install/evaluation of the product. Worked with Capacity Planning and Storage Admin groups to ensure that impact of new implementations is estimated/benchmarked beforactual production implementationExcellent analytical and problem solving skills Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to a changing environmentCapable of performing problem determination in a 24x7 database availability environment and production support, on-call supportShould have an excellent organizational skills and provide documentation for all phases of project lifecycleExperience with DB2 Temporal Tables, PBG, PBR tablesExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills with excellent corporate image.
